First Draft Done
No more procrastinating.
Set up the support system you know you need
so you get your book done.
This in-depth individual coaching program
provides the structure, mentoring & ongoing accountability you seek.
In this monthly coaching program you will work directly with me to write your chapters and develop your book cover ideas.
If you have not worked with me before this program, you will begin with a working session using the Author Accelerator Book Blueprint coaching material to review the foundations of your book, then hold regular live calls as you refine your book plan (if that needs more work) and write your chapters.
I supply extra resources and guides as needed, and I review your chapters as your writing progresses.
You can then course-correct as you go, rather than finding out in the editing stage that you have wandered way off the path.
PRE-REQUISITES:
♥ TRUE DESIRE to write your book. You know this is not just a passing whim.
♥ AVAILABLE TIME to focus on your writing every week. (We can figure this out together. What are you prepared to do less of so you can focus on your book?)
♥ COMMITMENT to your end goal, so you show up and do the work
YOUR INVESTMENT:
- Two accountability and coaching calls/month – AUD $580/month
- OR two accountability and coaching calls/month PLUS review of pages as you write – AUD $1280/month (The number of words/month to be reviewed may be capped or fees/month increased if more editorial time is involved than anticipated.)
DETAILS:
– You will receive support as long as required, so that you complete your book.
– Minimum commitment is 3 months with TWO calls per month to gain momentum and traction.
– No contracts.
– Review and feedback on up to 6000 words per month.
– One month’s notice is required to close this program.
– You can pause payments if you are not available for a month or more.

DISCLAIMER: Your writing output in this monthly timeframe is your responsibility. You may complete the first draft of all chapters and be ready for self-editing or external editing quite quickly, or you may take an extended time.
‘My biggest challenge, as I prepared to write the book that will become essential to my business, was gathering all of the current content I have generated through various webinars, presentations and workshops, and creating a structure and flow that would bring it together and make sense to the reader. It felt overwhelming and paralysing: I was stuck, and knew I needed help to move forward.
I chose to work with Bev Ryan as my book coach after meeting with her on Zoom, and despite the time difference between the US and Australia, we found a way that worked for both, meeting several times a month for six months – evenings for me and early mornings for Bev. After I engaged Bev and began working with her Book Blueprint framework, the book plan soon took on a definite structure. When I began to write chapters, it became “real”. I also realised how important it was to dive deeper and really write for the reader – not just at them. Bev was like a trusted friend as I wrote each section of my book, and nudged and guided me in the direction I needed to go, without judgement.
My book is now ready for editing and as I enter this publishing stage, I know I have written a book I am proud of, and one that I feel truly embodies what I want my readers to not only learn, but also incorporate into their own lives.’
“I needed help to actually get my book done, as I had been thinking about it and playing with ideas for a long time. I lacked commitment, accountability and structure. I decided in September 2022 to work with Bev, and we met fortnightly which gave me external deadlines I needed, and coaching which helped me firm up my book structure and get writing. As a result, I am now almost finished my manuscript and Bev is reading sections as I go. Bev has also organised my book cover design and a new website, in preparation for my book release in late April ’23. I would not have made any progress if I had kept going alone.”

“Bev guided me through the process of planning and writing ‘Mum’s Guide to Pregnancy‘ from the start – the conception of my book idea – to the end product in my hand. She answered all my questions in a considered manner and has always been extremely supportive. As an author it is important to surround yourself with a great team, and Bev is an integral part of it.”
About working with Bev
As a certified non-fiction book coach with years of experience guiding women through the book planning process and supporting them as they write their books, I also bring years of experience in managing my own book production team as we bring manuscripts to life in book form.
As your book coach, I will bring the riches of the Author Accelerator methodology and resources to you to ensure you plan and write the best book for your purposes and for your audience.
We will meet regularly online, for 60-90 minutes, two times per month. I will also be available for some brief email support and short emergency calls if needed. (I will let you know what is reasonable at the time.)
My written feedback on your work, as well as our coaching conversations, may at times question or challenge your intentions, and are only ever intended to bring you further clarity about your book, and what your reader will be looking for from your book.
I will guide you through the ins and outs of the self-publishing process as you develop your manuscript.
As you write your book we will also consider your cover design and cover content. You could invest in a design that will motivate you and make your book feel more real.
We can also discuss your ‘author platform’ so you can work on that and have things in place for your book when it is ready. We can also help with a website if needed, though that is not included in the cost of this program.
You retain full ownership of all content, IP, book files, and all profit from sales when working with me.
I am very proud to be one of the publishing professionals in Australia invited from 2019 to 2021 to join the judging panel for the annual Australian Business Book Awards. I was also a judge on the Australian Career Book Awards panel in 2021.
I do know what makes a quality book and I am delighted to work with authors who set a high benchmark for their own work.
“I made contact with Bev as I had no real idea how to approach writing a non-fiction book but I knew it was something I wanted to achieve. It had all felt largely overwhelming but with Bev’s knowledge and process of breaking it down into bite size chunks, it was easy to stay focused on the end goal.
During our initial discussions Bev helped me to articulate what it was I was hoping to achieve with the book. She helped me to identify who the book’s target audience would be which I found extremely useful to determine how I would get my message across.
Bev makes everything she does about you and your processes, not about her. Her knowledge shone through with the practical examples she shared so you could see and experience her wealth of information. I would definitely recommend Bev’s services because without them I would never have been able to write and publish ‘Women as Leaders’, the book that I wanted to write.”
